Jennifer Lopez Performs for Elementary School

The new mom, 38 Jennifer Lopez performed for the first time at an elementary school for autistic children.

Teacher Kathy Amati and a paraprofessional showed the video for Lopez's "Let's Get Loud".They learned the lyrics and the dance moves from the video.

She sang "Let's Get Loud" for a group of eight 10- and 11-year-olds at their graduation ceremony Tuesday, the Associated Press reports.

The tudents at PS 37 school for autistic children in Staten Island, New York, became obsessed with the Lopez tune.They wrote letters to Lopez for an autograph.

"From the minute we wrote the letters, they just automatically thought she would come," Ms. Amati said.

Inspired, they wrote letters to Lopez, who was so charmed that she decided to come to their graduation.
